ELLEN WARD (RIBA)
Ellen brings over 10 years of experience working on a substantial portfolio of projects including; master planning, urban design, mixed-use, resort, retail, residential and hospitality. Her experience spans the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia and she has worked in offices in London, Singapore and the US. Ellen is involved in all phases of the
design process, from initial concept, competitions and project planning all the way through to detailed design and construction. Ellen joined WATG in June 2015 as an Architect + Urban Designer after spending four years working for Terry Farrell & Partners. She is a Chartered Architect and member of the RIBA & ARB. She has held numerous exhibitions including exhibiting in the Folkestone Triennial and the Royal Academy summer show (2012.) She has been published in the Architects Journal and the Evolo Skyscrapers 2 book and has also been a visiting critic at the University of Greenwich, London Met and Canterbury School of Architecture.
The role at WATG, has principally been designing master planning and resort schemes; working in Oman, Greece, China and Pakistan. In addition, she led a volunteering initiative taking 10 volunteers to the Philippines to build houses in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity (May, 2016) She has just returned from spending six months working for the Californian office of WATG, furthering her international experience.
Prior to joining WATG, she gained valuable experience working on a variety of urban design and masterplan schemes for Terry Farrell & Partners including focusing on the redevelopment of the Earls Court masterplan in West London and latterly, transitioning to a delivery role on the Lots Road 37 storey tower in Chelsea, London.
